I came to AGN back in 2002 for help with Zelda Classic, which my father found after the battery failed on our used copy of the original Legend of Zelda (We skipped from Atari to Sega Genesis, so we didn't own an original NES until long after everything was out of print. My first Zelda game was "A Link to the Past"). My interest peaked when I learned the program was also a game editor, and so my first foray on the internet was on this forum. Thankfully, though, my newb posts are well hidden in the folds of the archives.
I'm a writer and a math-enthusiast. I began my first full novel in 2008 after two failed attempts in my tweens, and I self-published in 2011. I've since produced a second novel and three manuals for a table-top game. Other than that, I'm sort of a bore. I have never completed a customized quest, though I dabbled several times. I know a little bit about scripting because of IF logic, but not enough to do anything really innovative. I tend to have unrealistically grandiose expectations of my projects, which is why I've floundered in the ZQuest venue.
