Well, to tell you the truth, I analyzed the palette used in the actual game. Now explain to me why the palette is that way in the first place, because the palette used isn't even that bright nor that varied in contrast.

I think the tileset needs a serious revamp to authenticity; I've had it with EZGBZ's lack of completion, which is so bad that the water for the fountain isn't even included. Even the borders are wrong; why they left the patch of grass off of some of the borders is a mystery to me. I'll try to get a team together and create EZGBZ 2.0, with much, much better palettes, a complete NPC roster, and all tiles that appear in the game in correct form.

Why everybody has so much trouble collecting everything from all three GB games, I don't know how...

This is something that's never really caught my attention until Linkus pointed it out. Assuming that is a modified version of the spring palette in the Oracle series, lets evaluate the differences of the actual palette, and the EZGBZ palette.

    Actual Palette:

    EZGBZ's Version:

Notice how high in contrast the EZGBZ version is to that of the original? May not seem that big of a deal, but wasn't the purpose of that tileset to be a complete rip of palettes, tiles, and sprites of the gameboy Zelda mini series?

Just to let you know, I've started a crusade on making EZGBZ 2.0:

...And I didn't realize the color of the flowers in the grass was wrong until now. Thanks, /M/.

Linkus, I think those trees are the wrong colour too. In your shot they appear to be the same colour as the grass, but they're different in that OoS screenshot.

I'm voting for _L_ this week. The layout of the screen is very appealing to me.

Although _L_'s is awesome, and TriMaster001's is really cool, and Linkus's makes really good use of the GBX tileset (despite its flaws at emulation)…, Sam Atoms's really catches my attention.

No SotW 11 yet? Maybe I'll have time to get a shot in...
