Tips for Vista and 7?

I searched for "Vista" in this forum, and didn't find any threads about using ZC on Vista. Does anyone have any tips? Like which version of ZC works best, and what options to use?

Has anyone tried using any virtual machines? If so, I'd like to know about people's experiences and advice. Has anyone tried ZC for DOS on a virtual DOS machine on XP, Vista or Windows 7? Has anyone tried ZC for XP on a virtual XP machine on Vista or 7?

Hi - did you mean you were not able to start the ui?
So far, what I noticed is, the installation kit puts desktop shortcut which is full screen, 320x240. That resolution doesn't always work on modern systems.
Better to start with a window (look in your start menu for more options to window sizes).

go to http://shardstorm.com to view the Zelda classic Changelog. This features betas for an upcoming official version, which have some bugs to be worked out but should run better on your operating system. Alternatively, also search for Zelda Classic. 2.10.2, an update to 2.10 that fixes a lot of bugs.
