I honestly wasn't too impressed by the cell shaded DS entries. Phantom Hourglass was OK, but not great. Spirit Tracks was just too out there in terms of a Zelda game for my tastes. I couldn't get over the train / Zelda ghost thing.

Iondra is my Wii U's name for Chess. Would you like to challenge?

I agree, they're the weakest in the series. I enjoy them, Phantom Hourglass more than Spirit Tracks actually (I seem to be one of a mere few), but yeah, they could be much better. The 3DS, though, well, if they make a game similar to OoT/WW/TP with the WW graphics on it, it would look fantastic. But I wonder what the chances are of us actually getting a game like that, which makes me sad.

I don't think I've ever completed a single handheld Zelda game.

... between Link's Awakening, the Oracle games, The Minish Cap, and the two DS Zeldas? You're missing out. D:

(Opinions vary on those entries, mostly with very positive on LA and Oracles and mixed on TMC and the DS games.)

Speaking of the handheld games of Zelda. I loved Link's Awakening in fact its one of my personal favorites :)
I can say the about OoS/OoA and TMC, But the DS titles I just couldn't stand the controls were horrible <__<.
Still to this day out of all the zelda games The DS Titles are the weakest games out of the whole series...

Yep. I played through most of Link's Awakening but never completed it. I'm ashamed.

I've also never completed Zelda II, but I feel no shame about that at all. lol
