zc.sav error, have to replace it almost every time I play

Almost every time I use ZC, I get the zc.sav error screen that says something like 'We were unable to open zc.sav, reboot and try again. If that doesn't work you will need to delete zc.sav.' I made copies of that file, so I replace it with the copy, but it's very annoying to have to copy the file after every time I play and replace it when it's corrupt. Anything I can do to fix this issue?
