it is fixed in a unreleased version :) it was a very recently introduced bug.

Minor bug found while playing Sarpadia again in the most recent build(780)...when using the wand, the beams came out looking like sword beams instead of the usual wand beams.
Wouldn't the developers have an easier time finding these bugs if you post them in the bug forums?
