    Move Issue

I know this isn't a really big deal in the grand scheme of things, but..

Would it be possible to, sometime soon in the next build(s), make it so that when you move tiles assigned to subscreen elements (2x2 Frame, Heart Gauge Piece, etc.), they are re-assigned accordingly? As it is now, preforming said action leaves the elements assigned to the tiles you selected, not to the newly-moved location

And yes, I realize this is a suggestion, if anything. But if it helps, think of it as a bug-fix; Moving tiles doesn't affect the subscreen elements assigned tile data

    Re: Move Issue

That would suck major bawls. When I'm making alterations to a subscreen, sometimes I move tiles around to quickly change things on the subscreen. For example, I replace the tiles used for the Heart Gauge so they all get replaced at once and I don't have to re-assign them all to different tiles. I think that is a lot more convenient than what you are suggesting.

Shazza, you can already use copy/paste to accomplish the same exact thing. What *b* describes certainly sounds more intuitive to me. After all, that's why the move function was originally added.
People who think they know everything are very irritating to those of us who do.

    Re: Move Issue

Maybe I'm missing something. What's the difference between "copy/pasting" and "moving"?

Move is basically "copy, paste, delete original". It fixes combo references plus a few other things, I think. What specific things is it not updating for you automatically?

    Re: Move Issue

Example: You have a combo using tile 1. Moving that tile to tile 2 will update the combo to use tile 2. If you only copy/paste, the tile will be at tile 2, but the combo will still use tile 1

That's how move works. It's supposed to work LIKE copy/paste in the tile editor, but without the manual resetting of combos/graphics to the new tile locations

[edit] Holy buckets, DN, same post time!

In terms of what isn't updating for subscreen elements, everything. Moving tiles that subscreen elements use does not update ANY of them. There are also a few Weapon/Misc tiles that don't update, though I'm not entirely certain which ones at the moment. I might be able to put together a list later on today, if you'd like

    Re: Move Issue

Okay, I wasn't aware of the "Move" option until this thread. Disregard my first post, I guess. O:>
