I want to play some old quests that utilize custom sfx.dat files, how do I go about upgrading the format of the sfx.dat files to make them work with Release Candidate 5?

Computer specifications:
Windows 10 Pro x64 | Intel Core i7 @ 2.66GHZ | Asus P6T Motherboard | 6GB DDR3 RAM | Integrated Sound | Nvidia Geforce 560 Ti 2048MB PCI-E | Corsair AX760 Power Supply | Thermaltake Armor+ MX case
For example I want to play Castle Haunt II but I want to play it in 2.50 RC5 with the custom sfx.dat, but can't!
Code:SFX.Dat... Incompatible version of sfx.dat. Please upgrade to v2.11 Build 15

there's an option in ag.cfg to the effect of "use SFX.dat = 0" or so. Try changing it to 1? I doubt the format has changed for something that old.
Well the exact error that is printed in allegro.log isI assume the format has changed and backwards compatibility wasn't implemented.Code:SFX.Dat... Incompatible version of sfx.dat. Please upgrade to v2.11 Build 15

You will probably have to play the quest in 2.10, but then I don't know crap about how sfx are handled. Maybe @Gleeok or @Saffith can offer some insight. You are sure the sfx.dat isn't corrupt?
It'd be a good idea in the future to include relevant allegro.log errors in the original post to expedite things.
