I nominate Actraiser for the SNES. I have incredibly fond memories of this game, several of which relate to my older brother who has since passed away. Game Rankings has it at 79.25 and 32nd overall for the SNES. It is one of the most unique games I've ever played--a side scroller action adventure with sim elements tied in. Although the sequel is criticically acclaimed as well, they removed the sim elements and I've personally never played it although I plan on doing so in the near future. If you've never played Actraiser, I highly recommend it. If you have, I hope you'll enjoy playing through it again as much as I know I will as I haven't played it since the mid 90s when I was only 8 years old. Thanks for considering my nomination!
