New Link Tiles

Can someone give me a step by step guide to adding new Link tiles from a bitmap or gif, and then using them to replace the old Link tiles please?

highlight the tile you want to replace
glick grab, and load the .bmp/.gif file you want to rip the tile from
click the tile you want to rip
press "OK"
rinse and repeat

What about the palette of the new tile? How do I change it if I need to?

that's easy as well. when you click Edit in the tile editor, you'll see another button in the lower right corner of the screen, also called Edit. click that, and select the first option. higlight the seventh palette (it's labeled 6), and click Grab. it'll load the palette from the image, and you can select which CSet to grab
